This wine bursts with distinct and clear fruit expressions of pineapple, pear, and lime, complimented with a wonderful minerality reminiscent of Bordeaux blanc that we now recognize as a classic Vogelzang Vineyard aroma profile. | The grapes for this wine are grown on two separate vineyards in the Walker Bay that comprise 45% of the final assemblage that combine with the grapes from a vineyard in Villiersdorp. Each of the vineyards adds its own dimension to the Southern Right Sauvignon Blanc with the objective a fashioning an aromatic South African styled Sauvignon Blanc. Our style is a contrast between the overt fruit of new world Sauvignon Blanc balanced against the tight, mineral influenced and restrained styles of the Loire Valley. | |||||
