Wine- Maker Notes
The 2009 Cooralook Pinot Noir has been produced from fruit from our own Yabby Lake Vineyards in the Strathbogie Ranges. The grapes were harvested in late February, with careful fruit selection resulting in an intense fruit driven and balanced wine. The wine displays a lovely bright vibrant red colour while the bouquet is dominated by classic pinot noir aromas of red berry and spicy plum fruits. The palate is medium bodied with rich fruit fl avours. Elegant in texture the wine has a velvety silk mouthfeel, and a fine persistent finish.

Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the medium-bodied 2009 Pinot Noir has dark cherry and raspberry aromas with some loam and tree bark. Crisp with medium acidity and a medium level of chewy tannins, it has a good amount of mid-palate fruit and a long finish. Drinking well now, it should keep its fruit through 2013.
