The first in the Taittinger Artist series, created by Hungarian optical artist Victory Vasarely. The 1978 harvest was one of the smallest in the history of Champagne. It is the rarest of the Taittinger Artist Series. "The Taittinger Collecion Brut was assembled from 40% white Chardonnay grapes from the best vineyards in the cote des Blancs and 60% Pinot Noir harvested in the best vineyards of the Montagne de Reims.
