The Chablis Valmur has toasted hazelnut, eucalyptus, lemon, and stone-like aromas. It is big and delineated and has a velvety-textured, precise, and complex core of white/red berries intermingled with spiced pears and anise. It lasts long on the palate. This blockbuster is an extraordinary wine, in addition to offering further evidence of Guffens' brilliant winemaking skills. Drink it between 2001 and 2007+.
